The colorwork motifs in this cowl remind me of falling, swirling waterfalls, and the pattern takes its name from the Elakala Falls in West Virginia. The cowl begins with 1x1 ribbing in one color then moves into stranded colorwork. The motifs are then inverted, both in color and in orientation, and the cowl is finished with 1x1 ribbing in the second color.

The pattern contains charts only. The pattern has been professionally tech edited by Kitty Wunder.
