Training a Dog

A fun way to begin teaching children to train a dog to pause, wait, stay, and stop.

These key words are a building block of impulse control training for our canine friends. This training helps dogs move from acting on instinct, like rushing through doors or lunging for food, to pausing and waiting for guidance. These sheets also help ensure consistency across the whole family, so the learning is reinforced. And helps build a trusting, happy multi-species household.

There is a colour worksheet and a black and white version for children to colour in (or save on printer ink).
