4-5 Years Occupational Therapy Development Checklists
This checklist guide focuses on concerns with developmental skills, sensory integration, social skills, behavior, emotional regulation, activities of daily living (ADLs), and primitive reflexes for children ages 4-5 years. Beneficial for preschool or transitional kindergarten teachers to use as a resource for students new to a school environment that may benefit from occupational therapy support for integration into the classroom, academic challenges and sensory needs.It is a resource that can be used by occupational therapists, OT students, parents, teachers, school counselors, pediatricians, psychologists, speech therapists, ABA's, and other health professionals to determine if a child between the ages of 4-5 years should be referred for an OT evaluation. This checklist guide is user friendly and includes a simple scoring guide to determine need for referral for an OT evaluation based on results.
