STRIPES Dysautonomia Provider Toolkit

This toolkit is designed primarily for healthcare providers to use in clinical practice.

It was created for nurse practitioners, physician assistants, physicians, nurses, and other clinicians evaluating patients with orthostatic symptoms, unexplained tachycardia, dizziness, presyncope, fatigue, exercise intolerance, brain fog, and possible dysautonomia.

The toolkit provides a structured clinical framework for recognizing physiologic patterns, performing and interpreting orthostatic assessments, considering common mimics and contributors, documenting findings, and determining appropriate next steps or referral.

It is not designed as a patient advocacy packet or a resource for patients to hand to their doctors. Separate patient-facing STRIPES resources are available for individuals who want to organize symptoms, track orthostatic readings, and communicate their health history more clearly with their care team.
