Healing: The Birthright of Every Child of God
In every age, God’s people have faced battles with sickness, disease, and oppression. Yet, one truth remains unchanged: God is still the Healer of His people. This book was written to remind the children of God that healing is not a distant promise or an occasional intervention. Healing is the birthright of every child of God — purchased by the precious blood of Jesus Christ and secured in the covenant of grace.
We live in a world where sickness and disease have become common enemies of mankind, sparing neither young nor old, rich nor poor, believer nor unbeliever. Hospitals overflow, and people search everywhere for answers — sometimes in places where true healing cannot be found. In the midst of this, I hear the Spirit of God saying afresh: “I am the Lord that healeth thee” (Exodus 15:26, KJV).
We live in a generation where science and technology have advanced, but the cry of the afflicted has only grown louder. Many have accepted sickness as normal, or even as God’s will for their lives. But the Word of God says otherwise. It is time to return to the Scriptures and rediscover the power of the cross — where Jesus not only bore our sins, but also carried our sicknesses (Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:17).
