Couples Counselling Session

A 1-hour couples counselling session for you and your spouse to work through the challenges affecting your relationship, improve communication, and begin making practical changes together.

What This Session is About

Are you and your spouse struggling with communication, having the same arguments over and over again, feeling emotionally distant, or finding it difficult to resolve issues in your marriage?

This 1-hour couples counselling session gives you both the space to talk openly about what is happening in your relationship, with guidance to help you understand the issues beneath the conflict and begin working through them.

This session is designed to address communication struggles, recurring conflict, trust issues, emotional disconnection, intimacy concerns, unresolved hurts, and other challenges affecting your marriage.

The goal is not to decide who is right or wrong. It is to help both of you understand what is happening, identify what needs to change, and begin taking practical steps toward a healthier relationship.

Who This Session Is For

This session is for you if:

  • You keep having the same arguments without actually resolving them.
  • You struggle to communicate without one or both of you becoming defensive, angry, or shutting down.
  • You feel more emotionally distant from each other than you used to.
  • You feel unheard, misunderstood, or unappreciated in your marriage.
  • You're struggling to rebuild trust or work through something that has hurt the relationship.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if my spouse and I don't agree about the problem?

That's okay. You don't have to see the situation the same way before coming. Part of the session is creating space for both of you to express your perspective, listen to each other, and better understand what is happening between you.

What if we've been having the same problem for years? Is one session enough?

One session can help you identify what is happening and where to begin, but lasting change usually takes intentional effort beyond one conversation. After the session, we'll be able to determine what support or next steps may be helpful for your situation.

What if one of us is more willing to work on the marriage than the other?

You can still begin. One person's willingness to address the problem can be an important starting point, but meaningful progress in couples counselling ultimately requires both partners to participate honestly and be willing to work on the relationship.
