Goldfinch cross stitch pattern

Counted cross stitch pattern of a goldfinch.

Did you know a flock of goldfinches is called a charm? It's the perfect description for these beautifuly-coloured and delicate birds. They can be seen in gardens as well as in the countryside, feeding on seeds. I often see them in my garden on teasel plants and also eating sunflower seeds.

• Size on 16/32 count fabric: 2 x 2.2 inches (5 x 5.5cm)

• Techniques: whole cross stitch and backstotch detail around the eye
