Having successfully completed the Christian Basics 1 & 2 Courses, it remains only to ensure that we are well versed in understanding the structure of our Priory and Church.
In addition, this course will teach you about the standards of behaviour required of every Knight or Dame, which are taken from the original Templar Knights Code and modernised appropriately for the present day.
You are advised to treat this course with the utmost diligence. As Templars we are expected to hold to very high standards.
Everyone who is called to the "mission field" needs to be equipped for the task. With these courses, you can be sure that you have gained a sure knowledge of the basics of Christian faith.
Now its time to see if you have what it takes to become a Templar Knight or Dame.
Once you have completed this course on the Organisation and Structure of the Knights Templar Church, you will have begun your walk towards becoming a Templar Knight or Dame.
This is not an easy path to take and it requires determination, strength of character and self-discipline among a number of other virtues. Becoming a Templar Knight or Dame is not just the issuance of a certificate. It is a state of mind and a commitment to God and to our Order and Church
At the end of your courses and probation period, if you have fulfilled all the criteria and have been approved for knighthood, you will be expected to make a public declaration of intentions.
This declaration will take the form of an oath to God and the Church that you will honour and obey the Priory Code of Conduct ("Rule") and the direction you are given by the Grand Master of the Priory, or any Commander in seniority to yourself, that is given in good faith and Godly intent, whether for task direction, helps (guidance) or discipline.
