Not So Spooky: 31 Days of Gentle Shadow Work
Not So Spooky: 31 Days of Gentle Shadow Work
'Tis the season of all things spooky — and all things hidden.
At Samhain, the veil between worlds is said to grow thin. This journal invites you to enter that season with purpose: 31 days, 31 reflections, one page at a time, gently getting curious about the parts of yourself you don't always let out into the light.
Each day pairs a short reflection — on fear, myth, archetype, or shadow — with a prompt for your own response. Some days you'll meet a symbol (bats, crystal ball, cauldron), and some days you'll meet an inner archetype (your Inner Evil Queen, your Inner Queen of Hearts). Some days you'll sit with a mythological ancestor, like The Morrígan, and notice what she stirs, gently, without pressure to go any deeper than feels right.
What's inside:
- 31 short, gentle daily reflections grounded in psychology, mythology, and folklore
- Simple journaling prompts — as light or as deep as you want to go each day
- A mix of fears to sit with and archetypes to get curious about, always at your own pace
