Tribalista - Overlay Mosaic Crochet

Tribalista is a geometric pattern inspired by the indigenous cultures. It is created using overlay mosaic crochet technique (one row, one colour) and it is a very relaxing pattern.

You can play with the number of repeats to create bigger smaller or bigger blankets or any other house decor item. If you are an adventurous crocheter you can use it to create garments too.

Materials

We Love Yarn Megaball (100% Acrylic) 1 ball – 400 g (1200 m) / 14.1 oz (1312 yards) - Yarn weight #3 (Light)

(color 02) - 2 balls

Järbo Cookie (100% Acrylic) 1 ball – 200 g (600 m) / 7.1 oz (656 yards) - Yarn weight #4 (Medium)

(color 46218) - 3 balls

4 mm / US G-6 and 4.5 mm / US 7 crochet hooks

Finishing Size

Final size of the blanket is 90 cm x 135 cm (29 in x 53 in), approximately. 

You can customize the size of your blanket by adding or decreasing repeats of the pattern, but keep in mind that this will affect the amount of yarn required.
