Featuring 5" squares of novelty print fabrics this quilt can be used to play 'I-Spy with my little eye'. A great way to help children learn letter sounds and keep them occupied too!
The quilt has forty-two easy to piece blocks and measures 50" x 58" (127cm x 147cm). The use of carefully placed dark and light fabrics around the novelty fabric squares gives the illusion they are 'floating' above the quilt and creating their own shadows.
To complete the quilt you will need the following materials:
• Forty two (42) 5” novelty print squares
• 170cm (1-3/4 yds) light background fabric
• 80cm (5/8 yd) dark background fabric
• Wadding 142cm x 162cm (56” x 64”)
• Backing 142cm x 162cm (56” x 64”)
• 50cm (½yd) binding fabric
Equipment:
• Rotary cutter, mat and rulers
• Sewing machine in good working order
This PDF pattern is sized to print on seven sheets of A4 or US Letter paper.
