Have you ever wanted to learn more about music but always felt like that ship has sailed and that you didn't know where to begin? Or are you an intermediate musician looking for an additional perspective on your compositional style or performance?

I have a doctorate in cello performance with a cognate in orchestral conducting, years of experience teaching music history and world music at the college level, have taught hundreds of beginning to advanced students how to play a string instrument, and I'm still learning more about music everyday!

It may be hard for you to find a teacher around you or maybe you want to learn a bit more before starting lessons.

I offer online lessons for cello, violin, guitar, bass guitar, music theory, composition, and/or improvisation at the rate of $100 per one hour lesson.

While I am your teacher you'll have access to my entire library (upon request) and I'll answer any/all of your musical questions within a reasonable time frame via email.

Depending on how long you'd like to study with me, I'll set up a program based on your musical goals and work with you to meet them within your desired timeline.

If you are looking to win an audition for an orchestra or university, or maybe you're trying to learn how to improvise over chord changes in a jazz standard, I can help you out.

I have experience in both the professional classical music world, as a touring and recording musician, and in a variety of musical styles from jazz, blues, rock n roll, hip hop, avant-garde, electronic, ambient, etc. If you want to learn a new piece or style and I'm unfamiliar, I'll learn it with you.

If you have suggestions on how I can improve, let me know. I do my best to ensure all students are both challenged and fulfilled by their lessons/program. Because of the nature of the service, there are no refunds on lessons but you may cancel your lesson/program at any time.

How does appointment scheduling work?

When you've completed purchasing you'll be able to login to your coaching account and can find out the next steps required to book a time for your appointment from there.

Is it possible to buy coaching more than once?

For sure! You simply need to purchase coaching again and will be able to get access to another set of coaching sessions.
