September, Unexpected – Bellweather Bay series, Book 4

When solicitor Mara Ellison discovers an unexplained change to Bellweather Bay’s harbour redevelopment boundary, she is already carrying another truth she can no longer postpone: she is pregnant with Felix Grant’s child.

Felix is a documentary photographer whose work has always pulled him towards the next departure. He returns expecting a difficult conversation, not a second chance. Mara will not build a future on promises. If he wants a place in their child’s life, he must prove that returning is more than another temporary stop.

As Mara fights for residents whose homes were drawn into the redevelopment without proper notice, Felix’s photographs may become vital evidence. Yet his greatest challenge is not recording the truth. It is learning how to remain present when work, fear and old habits all urge him to leave.

With a career-defining assignment calling Felix away and a baby changing every plan they once made separately, Mara and Felix must decide whether love can be rebuilt through honesty, dependable choices and the courage to make room for an unexpected life.

September, Unexpected is Book Four in The Lives We Choose series—an emotionally intense, clean contemporary romance about second chances, unexpected pregnancy, trust, home and choosing love without losing yourself.
