We've lived in Zante since 2023. In that time we've eaten our way around the island, found the places worth going back to, and quietly avoided the ones that aren't.

This guide is Emma's honest record of where we actually eat. Not the tourist strip. Not places that looked good on Instagram and turned out to be average. The tavernas, cafes and spots where the food is genuinely good and the locals actually go.

Every entry is somewhere we've chosen ourselves, paid for ourselves, and returned to. Nobody has paid to be included. We don't earn anything from recommending them. In our opinion, that's the only kind of food guide worth reading.
