This Laundry Booster Powder is designed to enhance the cleaning performance of regular laundry detergents while providing a fresh, long-lasting scent to washed fabrics. The formulation combines odour neutralisation, water-softening support, and fragrance delivery into a simple, effective powder that can be used across a wide range of household laundry applications.

Natrasorb Bath, a modified tapioca starch, acts as the primary fragrance carrier within the formula. Its porous structure allows it to absorb and hold fragrance oil, helping to distribute scent evenly throughout the wash without leaving oily residues on fabrics. This also improves the free-flowing nature of the powder, reducing clumping and ensuring consistent dosing.

Sodium bicarbonate supports odour control by neutralising acidic odour compounds trapped in textiles, making it particularly effective for towels, activewear, and everyday clothing. It also contributes mild cleaning support without being overly harsh on fibres.

Washing soda, or sodium carbonate, plays a key role in boosting detergent efficiency by softening water and increasing alkalinity. This helps detergents work more effectively against greasy soils and heavy build-up, improving overall wash performance and fabric cleanliness.

Rock salt is included to improve powder texture and flow while contributing to ionic strength within the wash cycle. It can also assist with fragrance dispersion and help stabilise the blend during storage.
