The utterly gorgeous Colour Pop Cowl by Tracey Todhunter was initially released in issue 125 of Inside Crochet. Tracey has very kindly allowed us to release this pattern as a FREE digital download for our wonderful customers! 😍
This subtly colourful cowl is designed to make the most of all those tiny oddments of yarn that are too precious to throw away. Because the motifs are “joined as you go” there is little seaming or sewing together of the motifs at the end.
Materials
Yarn A: Eden Cottage Yarns, Milburn 4ply (85% Bluefaced Leicester / 15% Silk) (50g, 200m, 218yds)
Colourway: Thyme; 2 x 50g balls
Yarn B: Eden Cottage Yarns, 4ply Yarnlings™, 10 Yarnlings required.
2.5mm hook
Size
Height 30cm
Length / circumference: 85cm after seaming
Tension
One complete motif measures 7cm x 7cm after blocking using 2.5mm hook, or size required to obtain tension.
Pattern notes
Make 48 circles, working Rounds 1 and 2 in Yarn B and Rounds 3 and 4 in Yarn A. Each circle requires approx. 220cm of yarn – you should get between five and seven circles per Yarnling™
