Male CPR – A Heart on the Edge

MíngZhì sits alone at his desk when a sudden pain grips his chest. His breath falters. Panic sets in as he reaches for his pills—only to realize the drawer is empty. He gulps water, desperate for relief, but the pain only tightens. Strength drains away. He collapses forward onto the desk, the room falling eerily silent.

TíngHui finds him moments later—unresponsive, not breathing. There’s no time to hesitate. Right there in the chair, he forces air back into MíngZhì’s lungs, refusing to let him slip away. Then he moves him to the bed and begins CPR, compressions pounding against a still chest. The AED charges. A shock cuts through the silence.
