Ten puzzles on every level, and the levels grow in two directions at once. The number of differences goes up — but so does the KIND of difference. The first level only ever moves something or takes it away. The next one starts turning things round. By the last level something has been swapped for something else entirely, and some of it is happening at the back of the picture.

WHY PARENTS LIKE IT

IT WORKS IN BLACK AND WHITE. No difference in this book is a change of colour — every one is a change of shape, position, size or presence. So it prints on the cheap grayscale setting, and it works for a colour-blind child.

"Luna Looks Again." Luna has walked the same path across the same meadow every day of her life, and she is quite sure that nothing ever happens there. Then a mouse asks her how many things she can see.

By the end of the afternoon she has found a beetle carrying a crumb twice its size, an eye watching her from a hole in a fence post, a second small tree she had never noticed growing beside the big one, two fish where she was sure there was one, a bee that was not wandering but going somewhere, and a rooster who has been standing on a bucket all this time. When the mouse comes back and asks again, she says she stopped counting.
Nothing in the meadow changed all day. Luna did.
This is the first time the bonus story and the puzzles are the same idea rather than two things in one download. Spot the difference trains one thing: looking twice at something you were sure you had already seen. That is the whole story.
