The Greenock Blitz
This book details the damage done to the towns of and villages of Inverclyde by various German raids up to and including the catastrophic nights of the 6/7th May 1941, when the town of Greenock and neighbouring Port Glasgow suffered its biggest attack. It draws upon sources to illustrate the horror of those two nights - phortographs, personal reminiscences, official reports and official maps. This is the most complete telling of the story since the actual events.
