Downfall: A Corporate Thriller
by Brian Lutterman
Narrated by Jess Wright
🌟🌟🌟🌟

This isn’t my typical type of book, but it was a pretty entertaining thriller.

Pen Wilkinson had a terrible car accident which left her in a wheelchair. Pen is a lawyer who is thrown into all kind of intense situations. She’s a tough woman and won’t let people and situations roll over her.

The story combines the corporate world with suspense, twists and excitement. It’s a fast and exciting read/listen! I definitely felt like I was watching a crime movie!

I listened to the audio and Jess Wright continues to be one of my favorite narrators!! She did a fantastic job with the story! She brought it to life with her animated and great sounding voice!

*This book is out now. I recommend the listen!!*

Great writing, narration, and representation!

When the authorities won't listen, unfortunately it is up to you to stay alive.

Pen is being falsely accused of fraud and racial discrimination as the bank corporation she works for is facing major backlash as criminal activity is detected. Then attempts on her life are made. On the run, she discovers she's not the only one this has happened to and she must make the truth clear not just for herself, but for others as well.

Narration by Jess Wright never disappoints! Clear emotional stakes and personality shine through with Jess's narration.

It's always wonderful to see media with representation of characters with disabilities. I recommend!
