The Imperial Cowl
The texture of this stitch pattern gives a truly cosy finished fabric, perfect for a winter cowl and it also echoes the windows on the front of The Imperial Hotel in Blackpool, for which it is named.
The pattern includes options for DK and aran weight yarns and for knitting flat or in the round.

Note
The pattern is created with tuck stitches which are easy to knit, although they may use unfamiliar terms. All tuck stitch terms (sl1yo/ sl11yo/ sl12yo/ sl13yo) are explained in the abbreviations. There is also a section with links to short videos showing how the stitches are worked, whether you are working the cowl flat or in the round.
