New York Art Explorer Journal for Kids 10-13 | Printable Travel Art Journal, 88 Pages | Instant Download
Look at the real thing. Then make your own.
This journal is for kids 10 to 13 who like to draw, design and make things. It has twelve studios across New York, and each one starts with something real they can go and look at.
Some of the places: the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Solomon R. Guggenhein Museum, Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum and the Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
Every studio has a short, true bit of art history and then a making page. Sketches, patterns, building plans, clothing design, sourvenirs, street art. There's a map with every studio pinned on it.
At the end they earn the New York Creative Eye Award.
