Pay What Works: In an effort to find a balance between more financial accessibility and sustainable pricing, I now offer a “Pay What Works” model. This allows for financial flexibility while still valuing and respecting the work and energy I and others provide in the making of this pattern. The price shown on Ravelry is the “true” value of the pattern that best reflects the work put into creating this design.

To purchase the pattern at a price point that is more accessible to you, use the coupon code at checkout listed next to the price point. The prices indicate the price you will pay, not the discount amount. No coupon code is needed for the highest price point.

Can you smell the sea breeze?

The Taha Moana Cowl is the sibling pattern to the Taha Moana Shawl. This was designed as an alternative to the 3/4 shawl as a yardage-friendly version, plus is much quicker to knit up. Perfect for using up the little scraps of yarn hiding in your stash or the leftover yarn from the Taha Moana Shawl!

The cowl is first knit as a top-down triangular shawl, then joined together and worked in the round. This version of this pattern includes updated instructions for the cowl body for a better fit on the shoulders (instead of sitting on your neck as a straight tube, it will continue to grow and fan out like a triangular shawl). As with the Taha Moana Shawl, you can choose whether to work the stripe lace section with three contrasting colors, two or just one!
