• Homestead is a cover design of the 52 Weeks of Shawls book by Laine Publishing.
• Homestead is a big and snuggly rectangular scarf, featuring delicate garter frames, beautiful lace elements, twisted rib columns and classic stockinette.
• The scarf is knitted side to side, from one short edge to the other. 

Final Measurements
Width: 18” / 45 cm.
Length: 80” / 200 cm.

Yarn
Approx. 1370 yds / 1253 m of DK weight yarn.
(I used 5 skeins of Juicy DK by Farmer’s Daughter Fibers (100% SW Merino, 274 yds / 251 m – 100 g), colourway Horse Belly. 

Needles 
US 6 (4mm) straight or circular needles.

Notions
stitch markers, row counter, tapestry needle.

Gauge
24 sts x 32 rows to 4” / 10 cm in St St, after blocking.
