PATTERN INFORMATION:
The Snowbird Cardigan is designed to be worn with 4-8” of positive ease. Sample shown in size 1 on a 33” bust.
The cardigan is worked from the bottom up in one piece to underarm.
The sleeves are picked up after the body of the cardigan is made.
Short rows are incorporated into the shaping the shoulders of the cardigan.
Suggested Needles:
Main Body: size US 10 /6 mm, or size to obtain gauge in 24”/61cm or length preferred.
Size US 10 /6 mm, or size to obtain gauge in double pointed needles or preferred method for sleeves.
Ribbing: size US 9 /5.5 mm, or 1 size /.5mm smaller than gauge needle in 24”/61cm or length preferred.
Size US 9 size/5.5mm, or 1 size /.5mm smaller than gauge needle in double pointed needles or preferred method for sleeves.
