Hisense 2025 TV picture settings - HDR
This product includes a document to help you achieve a better HDR picture and understand picture controls on Hisense 2025 TVs across all series. All options are available in user menus, so there is no need to access the service menu.
The analysis was done on the Hisense 55-inch 55U8Q and 43-inch 43E7Q Pro TVs for the European market.
The document explains:
1. HDR10/HDR10+/Dolby Vision picture settings that can be used for watching movies and TV shows from different sources such as Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Ultra HD Blu-ray discs and
2. Settings for gaming
The calibration was done for an HDMI limited range 4:2:2 YPrPb (component) signal, BT.2020 color space, SMPTE ST.2084 EOTF (Electro-Optical Transfer Function), HDR10 signal and white point target D65. The same recommendations apply to HLG and HDR10+ signals.
For information only, 2-point white balance values obtained on my 55U8Q unit for are inside this document. No 20-point and color management system values are provided, since it is pointless to copy them from unit to unit (completely individual from unit to unit, plus the controls themselves didn't work properly on the units I've tried).

Disclaimer:
Settings in this document are for reference only.
There is no guarantee that they will give you the best picture, which is in line with industry standards and suitable for your viewing environment, especially for greyscale accuracy. If you want a guaranteed calibrated picture, hire a professional TV calibrator (for example, with an ISF certificate, more info at https://www.imagingscience.com).
These recommendations apply to all screen sizes and other models in the company's lineup, though not all settings are available on all models.
