FloorFX

FloorFX: Your pedalboard, inside your DAW

FloorFX by OFFGRID Audio puts a complete boutique pedalboard in your DAW. It has six pedals, a 6-channel mixer, a power supply and a master controller, all on a real rug and cabled up like the board on your floor. Turn the knobs, stomp the switches and drag pedals around to rewire your sound.

Six pedals, 22 effects

• SHARDS (fragment generator): chops your audio into fragments and scatters them in time. It has Size, Density, Scatter and Mix, plus a Freeze switch that holds a moment in place.
• GRIT (dirt and dynamics): Drive, Warm, Fuzz, Scream and Swell. It's oversampled 4× for smooth, clean distortion, with Tilt and Sensitivity controls.
• MOTION (modulation): Double, Vibrato, Phaser, Tremolo and Pitch, with Rate and Drift controls.
• SPACE (time and ambience): Echoes, Tape, Reverb, Grains and Reverse, with tap tempo.
• WEAR (texture and lo-fi): Filter, Squash, Cassette, Glitch and Static, for character and grit.
• SHIFT (pitch and formant): ±12 semitones, with independent formant control to keep voices natural or make them monstrous.

Built like a real board

• Drag to rewire: move the pedals on the rug, or drag rows on the master pedal's screen, to change the order of the chain. All 720 possible orders are available.
• 6-channel FX mixer: volume and pan for each effect, with dB readouts and console-style faders.
• Power supply: switch between 9 V, 12 V and 18 V. Higher voltage gives the drive pedal more headroom, just like the real thing. Each unit has its own power switch.
• Master pedal: Dry/Wet, Output, true Bypass and a live chain screen.

Made for the session

• 190 presets, organized for Guitar, Bass, Keys, Synths, Drums, Pads, Vocal and FX.
