Title from...no idea. It was a phrase I heard or read on the internet, and wrote down as a possible title some years ago, thinking that I would most assuredly recall where I had encountered it, but alas: no.
It seemed to fit this piece, though – it is a paean to the glories of super-fast tonguing through an instrument which, by nature of its length, speaks slowly...well, slower than some of the higher members of the family.
Part Seven of the Unintentional Suite for Solo Recorders (Sopranino, Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass, Great Bass, Contrabass, and optional Garklein).
