God's Turnaround

An apparently hopeless situation can become the setting for an unexpected change. In God's Turnaround, Evangelist W.T. Elliott draws from 2 Kings 6-7, moving from the siege of Samaria to the provisions discovered in an abandoned enemy camp.

The four outcasts who step toward that camp become an illustration of how God can work through unlikely people and circumstances. Elliott connects their story with the man at the pool in John 5 and calls listeners to trust God's timing, hear His Word and respond in faith. His discussion of sackcloth beneath outward clothing also acknowledges the burdens people may carry unseen.

The message closes with a congregational appeal for prayer and renewed confidence in God. It includes a frank biblical account of the siege's suffering. Includes the original full-length MP3 recording and a sermon-focused preview highlighting faith amid unexpected circumstances.
