This sweater was born from the creation of the Bluewater Wrap and Cowl. I kept seeing the stitches as something that would work great for a yoke. This sweater is meant to show defined stitches and texture like the ripples on water.

Suggested ease is between 4-6” (10 -15 cm) of positive ease. If you are between sizes, size down.

Shown in size B with approx 4” (15 cm) of positive ease at the bust and 2” (5 cm) of positive ease at the upper arm.

Yarn

The Farmer’s Daughter Fibers Pishkun (Light Worsted or DK Weight; 100% Montana and Wyoming Rambouillet; 225 yds/100 g)

Needles

US size 6 (4.0 mm) for 1x1 ribbing; 16” and 24” circular needles, US size 6 (4.0 mm) needles to be used for working small circumferences in the round.

US size 7 (4.5 mm) for stockinette and charted pattern in the round; 16” and 24” circular needles, US size 7 (4.5 mm) needles to be used for working small circumferences in the round.

Gauge

19 sts and 30 rounds = 4 inches (10 centimeters) in Stockinette Stitch (suggested size US 7 / 4.5 mm) and Charted Pattern after blocking

Note: Sizes I, J and K have not been tested as I was unable to find volunteers for these sizes. Please send me a message if you are interested in testing these sizes and I will send you a copy of the pattern for free.

All other sizes have been test knit. The pattern has been tech edited.
