Peace by Design Experience

Peace doesn’t happen by accident. It happens by design.

A guided, hands-on, interactive experience centered on reflection, intention, and designing practices that support peace in your everyday life. No experience needed. Beginners are welcome.

When: Sunday, November 1, 2026, 2:00 to 4:00 PM

Where: Burst Into Books, 119 E. 107th Street, Chicago, IL 60628 (Roseland)

The experience includes:

• Receiving, exploring, and hand-stitching your own Practice of Peace guided journal
• Designing your intentions: learning how to move from affirmation to intention to an action you can practice
• Designing reminders for your practice, like a peace space at home, something you carry with you daily, a scent, or a taste, to keep you aligned
• Leaving with a blueprint to continue building
• Light bites and beverages

Welcome price for our first gathering: $59 (future gatherings: $111)

Your journal, materials, light bites, and beverages are included.

Your ticket

Your seat is officially reserved once you complete your registration. Your official, numbered ticket will be sent to you by October 29, by email, or by text if you share a phone number.

Community Scholarship & Peace Gift

Cost should never keep you from peace.

Community Scholarship: a free seat for someone for whom the registration price is a barrier. Share a few sentences about why you’d like to join. No documentation needed.

Peace Gift: a free seat drawn at random from everyone who enters. Just add your name and email.

Refund & Transfer Policy

Refunds: Email info@nacalaswardrobe.com within 48 hours of your purchase, or by October 24, 2026, whichever comes first. Refunds are issued minus a $2.50 processing fee, which we are unable to recover, so a $59 ticket is refunded as $56.50. After October 24, refunds are no longer available, since your journal and materials will be prepared for you.

Transfers: Can’t make it? You’re welcome to give your seat to a friend at no charge. Email info@nacalaswardrobe.com by October 29 with your name, your ticket number, and the name and email of the person attending in your place, and we’ll send them an updated ticket.

If we need to cancel: If we have to cancel or reschedule, you’ll receive a full refund with no fee, or you may keep your seat for the new date.
