The Lord's Prayer is translation and musical setting of the prayer Jesus taught to the disciples at the Last Supper. The text uses gender neutral pronouns for God, but retains the parental metaphor Jesus used throughout his earthly ministry. The music works well as a pair with the Foundry Hymnal communion song Humble Meal of Bread and Wine.
