The 80/20 principle in relationships says that:
In a strong, successful relationship, your partner generally meets the vast majority of your core emotional, physical, and practical needs, which makes the foundation of the 80%.
The remaining 20% often consists of superficial traits, annoying habits, or minor incompatibilities.
But sometimes, relationship conflicts can cause us to fixate on the 20% that is lacking, causing us to trade a solid 80% relationship for someone who only provides the missing 20%, and later realizing the new person lacks the substantial foundation that we gave up.
Are you receiving a strong 80% in your relationship?
Do you feel that your partner is lacking 10%, 15%, 20%, 25% or more?
This community is for you if…
- You're in a mostly-good relationship that's not abusive
- You wonder if what you're missing is big enough to be a problem
- You're a high-functioning professional who sometimes take on too much
- You're don't want to make the "wrong" decision about your relationship
You’re a solver, a fixer, a doer.
But when it comes to your relationship, you feel stuck in indecisiveness.
You deserve clarity and discernment
WITHOUT
over-functioning, over-thinking or regret.
Imagine if you could flip the script.
As a psychologist and relationship coach. I specialize in helping high-functioning individuals build clearer, more balanced relationships—without losing themselves in the process.
Right now, your pattern looks like:
I'm comfortable in this relationship → my need isn't being met by my partner → frustration/disappointment/loneliness/resentfulness → today was better →
I'm happy/content/feeling ok →
but, why do I still feel unfulfilled/unhappy/like something's missing?
Instead of that yo-yo pattern, we'll place it with a healthier, more stable pattern.
You can feel centered.
You can feel purposeful.
You can feel connected.
