Land Girls meets the high desert in this slightly vintage-inspired tee with a simple 4-row lace pattern reminiscent of sagebrush. Made it in a wool/ silk blend as shown it’s a perfect transitional-weather layering piece. Or make it in linen-blend such as Knitpicks Lindy Chain for a warm-weather tee.

Difficulty: Intermediate. Stitch pattern is presented in both charted and written format.

Finished Chest Circumference: 32 (36, 40, 44, 47 ¾, 55 ¾, 59 ¾, 63 ½, 67 ½) in 81.5 (91.5, 101.5, 111.5, 121.5, 141.5, 151.5, 161.5, 171.5)cm. Intended to be worn with 1-3 inches positive ease in the upper chest.

Back Shoulder Length: 22 ½ (23 ¼, 23 ¾, 24 ¼, 24 ¾, 25 ½, 25 ½, 26 ¼, 26 ¾) in 57.5 (59.5, 61, 62, 63.5, 64.5, 65, 67, 68)cm.

Yarn: Approximately 901 (1021, 1171, 1307, 1477, 1754, 1934, 2097, 2286) yds 824 (934, 1071, 1195, 1351, 1604, 1768, 1917, 2090)m fingering weight yarn for MC. Approximately 50 yds 45m each CC1 and CC2. Shown in Knitpicks Bare Gloss Fingering (70% wool, 30% silk, 440 yds/100g) and Knitpicks Gloss Fingering (70% wool, 30% silk, 220 yds/ 50g): Kenai (CC1) and Masala (CC2).

Gauge: 30 sts/ 41 rows = 4 in 10cm in St st on larger needle. 27 sts/ 41 rows = 4 in 10cm in Chevron Rib on larger needle. Be sure to check your gauge in both stockinette stitch and the Chevron Rib pattern.

Needles: US #1 (2.25mm) and #2 (2.75mm) straight or 24-inch circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.

Notions: tapestry needle; 2 stitch markers.

Notes: Tee is worked back and forth in pieces with raglan shaping and seamed. Waist
shaping is worked on the back only. Lace instructions are given in both written and charted form.
