Glasgow was one of the hearts of the Industrial Revolution. Bathed by the River Clyde, it has retained its working-class soul while modernizing. Classic Victorian architecture rubs shoulders with more modern districts and buildings, some of them boldly architectural. Of course, you won't miss St. Mungo's Cathedral, which has dominated the city since the 12th century. The only Scottish cathedral to survive the destruction of the Reformation, it is the oldest building in the city. You'll also cross a number of bridges with different structures, and enjoy a variety of views over the city, which is a delight to explore in running shoes.

Glasgow fut l’un des berceaux de la révolution industrielle. Baignée par le fleuve Clyde, elle a gardé son âme ouvrière tout en se modernisant. Une architecture classique victorienne côtoie des quartiers et bâtiments plus modernes, dont certains à l’architecture audacieuse. Vous ne manquerez évidemment pas  la Cathédrale Saint-Mungo qui domine la ville depuis le XIIème siècle, seule cathédrale écossaise ayant survécu aux destructions de la Réforme, et qui constitue le plus ancien édifice de la ville. Vous traverserez de nombreux ponts, aux structures variées et profiterez ainsi de divers points de vue sur cette ville très agréable à découvrir baskets aux pieds.
