When I was about 5 years old, I started watching my family members as they cooked. My parents, my grandma, great grandma, aunts, uncles, cousins, everybody! If they were in the kitchen, near a grill, or a big pot and a propane tank, I was there watching and asking questions. Since then, I’ve taken a long and meandering journey to get to this point; where I want to talk about my passion for Creole cuisine. The food I was raised on, in my opinion, was like being served love on a plate or in a bowl at every meal. I want to share this love and comfort with the world. This cookbook is my way of doing that.
