The Cubes Quilt

This quilt takes the traditional design of tumbling blocks and gives it a fresh modern look.  As the quilt top is pieced using triangles in vertical strips, there are no tricky y seams.  The finished size is: 

63” x 70” / 1.6m x 1.8m 

To make this quilt you will need:

Ten print FQs:                One FQ each

Pale grey fabric:            1 ¼ yards / 1 metre

Dark grey fabric:           2 yards / 2 metres

Binding fabric:               ½ yard / ½ metre

Backing fabric:               4 ½ yards / 4 metres

Wadding:                       71” x 78” / 1.8m x 2m
