Easy Sling Bag PDF Pattern

A cool, fun sling bag.
This is one bag every woman/girl should own.
Fun and casual.
It fits your essentials and more.

This bag is for beginners.
It is easy to put together.
Closure is a simple magnetic snap.
One patch pocket inside the bag.

One end of the long sling is tied to a wooden/metal ring. The ring is a feature of this bag.
You must be able to purchase a suitable ring in order to make this bag.

Take the easy way out and make the flap the same fabric as the exterior fabric.
Or use a contrasting fabric.

Want something more interesting? Make the flap using patchwork by just sewing a few strips together.

Make it over a weekend. Total time is likely to be about 2 hours.

Exterior fabric: 1.5 yard(1.5m)**
Lining: 1/2 yard (1/2 metre)**
For patchwork flap: under 1 fat quarter of 2 different fabric
Fusible interfacing
Magnetic snaps - 0.5" (14mm)
Wooden/Metal ring - about 2" (5cm) in diameter
An all-purpose foot
**There will be some leftover fabric

rotary cutter
quilting ruler
cutting mat
