This shawl was inspired by the idea of family, as our daughter begins to grow her own human and start a family of her own. It ‘marries’ two locations - the hills around Edinburgh where we live and the rolling Oxfordshire countryside near Banbury where her husband’s family is from.
The pattern creates something new as the two are combined with simple stripes, easy lace and a garter finish with eyelets.
MC approx 350m; CC approx 200m
4mm needles
This pattern is priced at just £2 and ALL proceeds will be donated to Refuge: For women and children. Against domestic violence
