The Workflow Vault

Many small businesses do the same admin by hand: logging enquiries, preparing for bookings, chasing quotes, checking invoices. This kit gives you 15 written recipes to turn that admin into an orderly, checked workflow.

These are build instructions. They are not importable workflow files and they are not tested live integrations. You build each recipe yourself in n8n or Make, in a sandbox, with fictional test data. Then you check the result against the written tests before you trust it with anything real.

Every recipe has the same layout, so you always know where to look:

• Purpose and the fields it needs
• A node list for n8n and a module list for Make
• Step-by-step build instructions for each platform
• Error handling and recovery
• Acceptance tests
• Boundary and handover notes

A shared "build once" section comes first. It covers test tabs, a duplicate-prevention rule, safe retries and how to connect apps with minimum permissions.

Every external message in the kit ends as a draft or review row. A person checks consent and current facts, then sends it in the original app. Nothing in the recipes sends messages by itself.

• Anyone who wants unattended sending of email, SMS or posts. The recipes keep a person in the loop.
• Anyone handling health records, legal case data, payments or access changes without a suitable technical and legal review.
• Anyone expecting sales, savings or income from it. We do not promise any.

Questions

Do I need n8n or Make? You need an account on one of them to build the recipes. The kit does not include one. Check each plan and its cost yourself, because they change.

Are these ready-made workflows I can import? No. They are written build instructions with field maps and tests. You build the workflow in your own account.

Will it send messages to my customers? No. Every external message ends as a draft or review row. A person sends it after checking consent and current facts.

Can I use real customer data? Start with fictional data in a sandbox. Do not put secrets in a worksheet. Get technical and legal review before you use personal, payment, health or legal data.
