English

The story of the Citta' surname: an everyday word for a surname, the spellings that change in 19th-century records, the groups scattered across Italy, the patchy map of the Citta', where emigration took them and why there are more abroad than at home, and an honest page about the coat of arms.

At the end, a family tree to fill in and a surname scroll to print.
