These ballet slippers are knitted in garter stitch and have an i-cord ankle tie.
They can be worn with the cord wrapped once and tied in a large bow, or wrapped around the ankle and leg then tied like traditional ballet slippers.
Pattern sizes: 2 (4-6-8) years.
To fit foot: 14 (17-19-21) cm [5½ (6¾-7½-8¼) ins].
Yarn required: 1 (1-1-1) ball Carnival 8ply, 100g balls@310m.
Needles required: A pair of 3.75mm [UK 9, US 5] knitting needles.
2 double-pointed 3.75mm [UK 9, US 5] knitting needles.
Wool needle for sewing up.
Tension: 22.5 sts and 44 rows to 10cm [4 ins] over garter st, using 3.75mm needles.
