Mawe (The Stones) begins the journey of Cheche Kuwa Moto at its most elemental—with stone, natural sound and the human heartbeat.

Inspired by the ancient sounds of stones being struck together, the track imagines rhythm emerging naturally from the world around us. Simple sounds become patterns. Patterns become expression. And from those first repeated beats, the earliest idea of music begins to take shape.

Blending African-inspired rhythm and voice with authentic orchestration and contemporary production, Mawe introduces the central idea of Cheche Kuwa Moto: that music did not simply appear—it grew from our relationship with the land, with one another, and with sound itself.
