The Bread of Life Made Simple
There is a hunger in you that no meal has ever touched. Jesus named it on a hillside in Galilee: "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty" (John 6:35).
The Bread of Life Made Simple is a Bible-first walk through John chapter six — from the manna that fell on the desert floor (Exodus 16), to the lesson Moses preached forty years later (Deuteronomy 8:3), to the five thousand fed on a hillside, to the hard saying about eating His flesh and drinking His blood, to the Emmaus table where the risen Christ broke bread and opened blind eyes.
Eleven devotional chapters, each with Scripture, reflection, application, and prayer. Explicitly Trinitarian: the Father who gives the true bread and draws us, Jesus Christ — Son of God and Son of Man, Lord and Savior — who IS the bread, and the Holy Spirit who gives life through the Word. Every prayer is to the Father, through Jesus Christ, by the Holy Spirit.
Read one chapter a day. Come hungry. Leave full. Bring someone with you.
