1.      The benefits of this package

The benefits of this training package are actually more than just increasing your jump height.

. You will also increase your horizontal jump distance, your speed and quickness and your ability to change direction more efficiently. Clearly, this will help you on the court or pitch to out jump, out sprint, and react quicker than your opponents.


. You will become stronger and more robust – this in turn will reduce chances of preventable injuries.

. You will learn and become more confident. You will benefit from a structured plan to follow for 12 weeks.


 2 .      The Process

Once you are ready to commit to this programme, you will receive  the protocols for your jump testing and what you need to do to record your initial jumps and send them into us for analysis. This is best done via Instagram (sportsperformanceservices). You will receive all of the the training programmes.

.There are 3 in total - 1x 2 week general preparation, 1x 5 week strength development, 1x 5 week power development and should be followed in that order. Further instructions and explanations included in each programme.


. Once you have completed your 12 weeks of training, you need to record your post training jumps and send them into us for analysis and comparison. We will return your results along with any necessary feedback.

At this stage we will also send you a feedback form to fill out to gather your honest feedback on your experience.

 3.     The training programme

In order to complete this training package, you need access to a gym. All of our programmes require the use of weights. We have broken it down into 3 core components – general preparation phase, strength development phase and finally a power development phase. These are the building blocks to improving the characterictics that are fundamental to improving your jump performance as well as robustness and speed. We have conducted a needs analysis of what is required to develop the kinetic chain. Subsequently this will improve your jump performance.

.You can be confident the programmes comes from a well-researched, tried and tested place. Each programme will have a clear outcome; when you receive it, you will know what you are doing and why.


It is down to you to complete your sessions on your own and it is highly advised that you record your weights and sessions so you don’t lose track of what you have done each session.

We will include demonstration videos so you can watch and repeat but if you are still unsure, we recommend you speak to a local qualified coach to check your form.
For all of the above, the video analysis, and twelve week training package, the total price with no additional costs or pressure on upsells is £247. This breaks down at just over £20 per week. This is an introductory offer and may rise in the future. As mentioned before, payment is to be made in full and cleared before you embark with your training.

 4.      Finally.....Who are we?
 
We have been established for nearly 20 years. Our head coach Ben Carling initially studied in Sports Nutrition and Personal Training before embarking on his career as a Strength & Conditioning Coach. Ben is an accredited UKSCA (UK Strength & Conditioning Association) Coach and has been for nearly 10 years. We also have 2 other members of staff, both have degrees in sport science.
 
We run a private Strength & Conditioning facility in the Isle of Man. We look after 80+ in house athletes through the year as well as work with a number of athletes in a remote capacity.
 
Our aim is to provide a 1st class service at an affordable price. We pride ourselves on delivering a 1st class service with an evidence based approach, allowing athletes the best possible chance of improving. We have had positive results with more athletes than we can count across a broad range of sports, ages and abilities.
