IMPORTANT
Microsoft Excel desktop is required. The workbooks were tested in Microsoft Excel for Windows and are not designed for Google Sheets.
For the Variable Income Edition, enter one combined row for each earning day. When income comes from multiple sources on the same date, combine those earnings into one entry so the earning-day count remains accurate.
You choose your own tax-reserve method and amount. Groundwork does not determine or recommend a tax rate.
Planned working-hour targets use the expected gross hourly rate entered by the user. Working Hours Cost uses actual usable earnings per hour after the selected tax reserve.
Groundwork is an educational decision-support tool and does not provide financial, legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice.
