RC 3D-Printed Dump Truck and Trailer

Bring your mini construction site to life! This fully 3D-printed, remote-controlled dump truck comes with a trailer that can be hitched hands-free using a powered hitch. It pairs perfectly with the 3D-printed Skid Steer for building your own miniature construction fleet.

The dump truck isn’t just for show — it can haul small items like sticks, rocks, or even garbanzo beans, making playtime or demonstration builds extra fun.

Controlled using a PS4 controller via ESP32 and Bluepad32. Firmware can be customized for other controllers; full list of supported controllers is available in the Bluepad32 documentation.

Electronics, fasteners, and other non-3D-printed parts (including the controller) cost approximately $100. All parts except the tires are printed in PLA; tires are printed in flexible TPU.

• Black PLA: ~361 g
• White PLA: ~145 g
• Silver PLA: ~96 g
• Orange PLA: ~1 g
• Black TPU (tires): ~57 g

Trailer

• Black PLA: ~58.61 g 
• Silver PLA: ~13 g
• Black TPU (tires): ~20.62 g

Assembly requires a soldering iron, 1.5 mm and 2 mm Allen keys, and a small screwdriver.

 All required parts are included in the parts list.
