Cyclobutrifluram Patent Landscape Analysis

Developed by Syngenta as the active ingredient behind TYMIRIUM® technology, cyclobutrifluram is a novel, low-dose nematicide and Group 7 SDHI fungicide designed for seed and soil applications. Syngenta retains the broadest patent position, with 42 families spanning all six protection layers, but substantial follow-on activity is already visible. The report retains 85 patent families across 22 consolidated owner groups, including 57 combination families held by 16 groups and 12 partner active ingredients named in claims. A further five upstream families cover the compound, crystal form and manufacturing processes, seven address formulation and 14 protect defined uses. Overall, 74 families have an active or pending member.
