The Reading Room is a collection of three original, lyric-free soundscapes for solo tarot and journaling. Each ten-minute piece includes an ambience-only edition and an optional binaural headphone edition.

Candlelit Table — warm, slowly changing harmonies, sparse glass-like notes, and a synthesized ember texture.

Rain at the Threshold — soft synthesized rainfall, woody plucks, and suspended harmonies.

Moon in the Window — spacious harmonic swells, distant resonant shimmer, and a sparse ascending motif.

What you receive

Six complete stereo MP3s, a listening guide, and three journal prompts. Each piece lasts ten minutes and softly fades to a finish. Total unique composition time is 30 minutes; the two editions are alternate mixes, not six different compositions. These are finished sessions, not seamless loops.

Listen your way

Ambience works with speakers or headphones. For binaural editions, use stereo headphones with one channel per ear and turn off mono audio or optional spatial processing. Begin at a comfortable, low volume. If a tone is distracting, choose ambience.

Candlelit Table pairs a 196 Hz left-channel tone with 202 Hz on the right, a 6 Hz difference in the theta range. Rain at the Threshold pairs 220 Hz left with 225 Hz right, a 5 Hz difference, also in the theta range. Moon in the Window pairs 174 Hz left with 182 Hz right, an 8 Hz difference at the commonly used theta/alpha boundary. These labels describe the beat frequency, not a guaranteed brainwave or mental state. Tarot and moon associations are symbolic; the audio does not promise healing, manifestation, or a medical effect.
