🎯 Objective of the Game

The goal is simple — reach the last square (usually 100) before any other player by moving along the board based on dice rolls.

🧍‍♂️ Number of Players

Minimum: 2

Maximum: Usually 4, but more can play depending on the board size

🎲 Basic Playing Rules

1️⃣ Start Position

All players start outside the board near square 1.

A player enters the board only after rolling the number 1 (in some boards 6) depending on game rules.

2️⃣ Rolling the Dice

Each player rolls the dice once per turn and moves forward according to the number shown.

3️⃣ Landing on a Ladder

If you land on the bottom of a ladder, climb to the top of the ladder immediately.

Ladders help you move faster.

4️⃣ Landing on a Snake

If you land on the head of a snake, slide down to the tail of the snake.

Snakes send you backward.

🔁 Special Dice Rules

If you roll a 6, you get an extra turn.

If you roll three 6s in a row, some players follow the rule you return to your starting point or skip a turn – depends on house rules.

🏁 Winning Rule

You must reach the exact last square (100).

If the dice roll is more than needed, you don’t move.

Example → If you are on 99 and roll a 4, you stay on 99.
